Register on fe2026.mahacet.org and complete E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny.
Detailed Action Points:
- Upload your MHT-CET score card, 12th marksheet, 10th marksheet, Domicile certificate, and Nationality certificate.
- Reserved category students must provide Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, and Non-Creamy Layer (valid till March 31, 2027).
- Choose E-Scrutiny (online document verification) or Physical Scrutiny at designated Scrutiny Centers (FC/SC).

If Option #1 is allotted in Round 1, it is automatically frozen. The candidate cannot participate in subsequent CAP rounds.
Options #2 to #300 Allotted (Satisfied)
If you are completely satisfied with the allotted college and do not wish to try for higher preferences in Round 2 or 3.
Options #2 to #300 Allotted (Want Better)
If you want to try for higher preferences in CAP Round 2/3 while keeping your currently allotted seat safe as a backup.

Q.What is the ₹1,000 Seat Acceptance Fee?
It is a mandatory online payment made to the CET Cell when you get your first seat allotment (either for Freeze or Betterment). If you don't pay this fee, your allotted seat is cancelled.
Q.Can I change my Option Form in CAP Round 2 or 3?
Yes! If you select 'Betterment' in Round 1, you can edit, add, remove, or reorder your options for CAP Round 2 and Round 3.
Q.What happens to my Round 1 seat if I get a new seat in Round 2?
If a higher choice is allotted to you in CAP Round 2, your previous Round 1 seat is AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED and allotted to another candidate.
Q.What if I am not allotted any seat in Round 2 Betterment?
If no new seat is allotted in Round 2, your reserved Round 1 seat remains intact and safe with you.
